Rainy Day

My lovely photographer, Amber, wasn't feeling well yesterday, which is why there was no new post.  She was feeling better today, and when I asked her if she was up for taking pictures today, she responded "heck yes, let's do this!"  She is so great.

This was not the outfit I was planning on wearing today, but I forgot to check the weather before planning said outfit, and woke up today to rain.  Not exactly the best weather to wear the suede moccasins I was planning on originally.  Luckily, the weather cleared up enough for us to take pictures outside before we lost too much light.  

I saw this rain jacket on a recent thrifting trip, and at only $7, I couldn't pass it up.  Even better, when I got it home and went to put it in the wash, I discovered that the plaid wool lining zips out to make it a lighter jacket.  So. cool.  I feel like I got two pieces of outerwear for the price of one.  Thrift success!
